A look behind the scenes at Bluetron

My name is Tamara Krijgh and I work in the Backoffice and Inside Sales department at Bluetron. Here I make sure that everything runs smoothly with regard to orders and planning. I make sure that the correct information from our customers and sales colleagues is translated into our system and passed on to the colleagues in the repair department.

How long have you been working at Bluetron?

I have been part of the Bluetron team since January 2008.

Why did you choose to work at Bluetron?

It seemed like a great challenge to me and three other colleagues from another company to further expand our knowledge and experience at Bluetron.

Can you describe a typical working day?

There is no typical day for me! Of course I have fixed tasks, but every day brings something new. Customers often come with new requests, new processes have to be set up, and I work closely with different departments. This keeps my work varied and interesting.

What do you like most about working at Bluetron?

The variety! In addition, my colleagues make the work even more enjoyable. The collaboration is informal and pleasant, and there is always room for a joke or a personal conversation.

What tasks or projects do you find most challenging and why?

Setting up new processes, especially in the field of repairs for new customers, can be quite challenging. It requires coordinating with the customer to understand their specific needs. This also involves some technical knowledge, which makes it extra interesting.

How has your career developed since you started at Bluetron?

Over the years I have helped countless customers, each with their own unique needs and expectations. For me, the challenge lies mainly in properly managing each order, so that each customer gets exactly what he or she needs.

Can you give an example of a project that you are proud of?

Although no specific project comes to mind, I am most proud of the collaboration within our team, when all departments —sales, internal service, engineers, logistics— combine their skills and knowledge, and together we successfully complete a customer request.

How would you describe the company culture at Bluetron?

The company culture is informal and familiar, built on strong norms and values.

How would you describe the collaboration with your colleagues?

We work hard and are focused when needed, but there is certainly room for fun and personal conversations. That is what makes working at Bluetron so special.

While no specific project comes to mind, I am most proud of the collaboration within our team.
